The Flightline Coupling System™ is based on the same principle used in aircraft fuel-line couplings — connections that ground crews need to lock and release in a single motion, under time pressure, without relying on fine finger strength. A sliding sleeve engages a full locking ring in one continuous push, rather than a partial pinch or a multi-turn thread. The anodised aluminium body and nickel-plated brass core keep the two metals electrically isolated, preventing the galvanic corrosion described in Blok 1 — so the same fitting still locks with the same one motion in year three as it did on day one.
